I heard the sample used on this track from Madlib's "Blunted in the Bombshelter" mix cd but I don't know who the original artist is. So the other day I stopped by the homie Flip's pad to talk freelance graphic design work and kick it for a bit. The landlord of his home had a collection of old records in the garage that he obviously doesn't care about. I've known about these records for about a year or so but just never been to the pad during that time. MAN! I was like a kid in a candy store when I finally got to dig thru these wooden crates. Flip said the landlord was a black man so you know he's got some soulful and funky shit. I only went thru half of the collection sweaty and dusty as fuck but that comes with the art of diggin so I'm used to those conditions. Anyway, here's some shit I picked up.....
